Should You Fear the End of the World?

Will the earth be burned up?

"He (God) has founded the earth upon its established places;  it will not be made to totter to time indefinite, or forever." - Psalm 104:5

"But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men." - 2 Peter 3:7

How can these two seemingly contradictory verses be reconciled?

"The world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever." - 1 John 2:17

Are You in God's Book of Remembrance?

Is there such a thing as God's book of remembrance? What is it really? How can our names be a part of that book and what does it mean for us to have our names included there?

Here's a Scripture worth-pondering on:

"At that time those in fear of Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance began to be written up before him for those in fear of Jehovah and for those thinking upon his name." - Malachi 3:16

Does God Use Natural Disasters to Punish Mankind Today?
