Do You Believe in What You Cannot See?

"To see is to believe." That's what some people say. They believe only in what they can see.  But then, it's a common knowledge now that there are many things that we cannot see and yet we know they exist. For instance, we know that there's a Creator of the universe and every little thing in it though we cannot see him. But how do we know that He exists? The article found in the link below will provide an in-depth analysis on this matter. Reading it gives us insight and an awesome sense of wonder.

Why Do We Suffer?

None of us want to suffer, for we have that inherent desire to live happily without any pain and troubles. And yet, we do suffer as long as we are alive in this world. No one can escape the ever-crawling fingers of suffering. All of us are unwilling victims of it.

Some can endure and successfully cope with their situation. But others can't accept a life full of sufferings. They go about getting mad at life to the point of taking their own lives because they can no longer bear their sufferings.

Others blame God, especially when someone tells them that human suffering is God's will. They stop believing in Him, saying, If there is God, then why does he allow suffering? Doesn't he care at all about us?

The article found in the link below offers an enlightenment on this subject. It addresses the question, Why does God allow suffering? It also answers the questions,  Has God caused the suffering in the world? and How will God undo the effects of human suffering? Reading this article  is a very comforting and satisfying experience. It can give hope to the hopeless and life to the "lifeless". The rewards are much more marvelous than what we have ever imagined.

The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived Affects Us and our Future

Who has not heard of the greatest man who ever lived, Jesus Christ? Or about "The Last Supper" or The Lord's Evening Meal?  Indeed, Jesus is known throughout the world as the Great Teacher and the Miracle Worker. Even those who don't have faith in him acknowledge his existence and his role in history.

A few days ago, I asked some university students if they believed in Jesus. They replied, "No." I then followed up my question with, "But have you studied about him in some of your subjects, like history?" This time they answered yes. And some of them expressed their desire to learn more about him.

From this single incident, we can see that Jesus has indeed carved an indelible image of himself on the pages of history, which the whole world can clearly see. Even though many people deny his existence, the innumerable effects of his past existence to the world today are indisputable.

Now, many people throughout the world remember the events that took place before and after his death. They commemorate the day when he gave his life in our behalf. He willingly sacrificed his life so that we will attain the wonderful future that his Father has promised to His human creations from the beginning. It is an eternal life which became possible only through Jesus' ransom sacrifice.

But even now, his life, teachings and death have greatly influenced and benefited us in many ways. Only those who truly search for him and his Father, and those who keep following them, will perfectly understand the wonderful benefits that come from the knowledge that they acquire as a result of their search.

The link below will direct us to a very interesting and soul-stirring article concerning the effects of Jesus' life and death to us. Spending just a few minutes to read it will be a life-changing experience.

Capturing the Colors of Light

Have you seen the colors of light? Well, we can see them the whole time through the rainbows, sprays of waterfalls in the sunlight, prismatic objects, and many other things.
One day, I again discovered some interesting fact about the snow in relation to light. I can't help myself gazing at the snow, and I as I gazed longer and more intensely, I noticed that the glitters were not just white or silver, but were of different colors. As I shifted my gaze, the colors kept on interchanging too.

So I came to understand that the prisms of the snow crystals individually reflect the colors of light so that all different colors are spread out all over the snow. The effect is so mesmerizing that I keep on shifting my perspective to watch the colorful glitters and get the effect like they are dancing. It's truly a wonderful sight and it's hard for me to take my eyes off it.

I couldn't let such beauty pass, and so I tried to capture it with several shots through my camera. This is another wonder of creation that I want to freeze forever.

Here are a couple of photos that I took.
